How Much Does The Pantech Matrix Cost
Bethlehem is about half an hour from Jerusalem. I do not know what to write about Bethlehem. There we visited the Geburtsstaette Jesus and we watched a bit of the old town. But probably most will be remembered, is the wall that was partially built by Bethlehem just in the middle and the other separated by a neighbor. Whether the wall now protects really against violence assault or aggression is even more questionable causes ...

We go to Ramallah in the West Bank. One of the largest cities in the West Bank and the center of the Palestinian Autoritatet, the capital, so to speak.
in Germany or in Europe, people often get the picture that you just should not go there, because it was in the West Bank and dangerous, but it is dangerous in any way. However, there is a restriction, at night, one should rather not be in the West Bank cities (at least not on the street) to stop, because the Israeli army often leads some operations and it can be dangerous under certain circumstances for every could.
So we decide even for a day trip. After 45min. a checkpoint and we are there. Ramallah is a bustling city, most people here are under 25, and the streets full, it looks like any other Arab city, too. The people in Ramallah are very nice, everywhere will be greeted friendly and they seem to be pleased that you visit the city. There are particularly many tourists here, perhaps for lack of tourist attraction that is missing beside the grave of Yasser Arafat. Nevertheless, Ramallah is definitely worth a visit.
On the way back to get to the checkpoint. The bags are checked and we have to through a metal detector. Passport control anyway (only Palestinians who were born in Jerusalem can get out of the West Bank) . Everything is going very slowly in the hanging doors overlooking a green light, then one can again through ..... The IDF soldiers sit in a room behind bullet-proof glass and communicate with people through the speakers .....
We meet a couple of young Palestinians, they learn German, want to leave here. They tell us that there is no life, but it looks like a prison. Many of them have to pass through the checkpoint every day and every day it takes at least an hour .... Your patience is admirable.
We have made it after about 1 hour on the other side waiting for the bus and we go home ... ....

Kingvale Snow And Tubing
Jerusalem Peace / Shalom / Salam would be nice. And basically, it almost looks for a peaceful coexistence of different cultures. Jews and Orthodox Christians in ihrere full costume walking through the streets of the old city, where Muslims sell their stuff. people from different countries, every continent is represented. All share Jerusalem as the most important religious sites. Significant Churches, mosques and synagogues everywhere.
Waehren because the heavily armed soldiers and bodyguards ("These men with the small microphone are bodyguards for Israelis"), checkpoints and clear boundaries between Palestinians and Israelis which are expected to provide security. Just now in the Palestinian part of Jerusalem with Arabic flair and even in the Israeli part where you think you waer in Europe, could be the pedestrian area of Stuttgart.
Jerusalem is a very interesting and moving city that probably no one forgets who she views.

goods for one week in Palestine. This "holiday" is a bit difficult to describe. He was undoubtedly a very good and intense experience. And we had quite a lot of fun. But the situation of the Palestine conflict is the residence again a different note, has less to do with fun.
border experiences
It starts on Friday on our last trip for the time being in the region. Since 1994, Jordan with Israel
We need two Sichercheitschecks (controlled including one in which one traces of explosives) and then we can do for a visa . We know we have to assume we might very many questions because we both have some stamps in the passport from Syria and Lebanon. The young-maybe 20-year-old border policeman sees the punches and it goes off. What were you doing in Syria? What did you do in Lebanon? Why? Why? Have you had contact to Arabs? Do you know anyone in Israel? Do you speak Arabic? etc.
Add to that the issues we want to do in Israel
Everything takes a long time, we have to name them by our parents, leaving grandparents and so on. After all the interviews we are allowed to take first place. Wait. It takes about 2 hours in between again someone comes by with more questions.
Then back to the switch and the critical part. We want to avoid the Israeli stamp and we know that the Israelis are as nice a piece of paper instead of the passport stamp. She asks us whether we want to have a stamp and we say, of course: no. In effect, the skin nice young lady won us a stamp inside .... Well shit went.

Wadi Rum, one of the most popular destinations here in Jordan. A desert in the south of Jordan, also knows not to say why the Wadi Rum. But no matter. Somewhere very touristy, yet overwhelming, what can perhaps be seen in the pictures.
When we arrived we first started walking on it and have "Lawrence Spring" visits. For the next day we booked ne Jeep Tour, despite our avoidance of the visitor center was very expensive. But without the Jeep does not go far and Jeep sometimes not ... Pinned a 5-hour, as our Jeep has given up in between the mind and we had to wait for replacement parts. In the evening we were invited to a delicious Huehnchenessen in a "Bedouin". (The good man has law school grad and plays for the tourists to the Bedouins and does well to coal.)
The next day we went to the sand dune, there have been and are Fruehstueckspicknick then walk back, because the three camels, which we wanted to catch us, faster than we were. That's it for now ...

goods last weekend on tour in Wadi Wadi Hasa . The plan was a 2 day trip (Aki has found in our trekking guide a shortcut), but we had a few problems to be executed there, done where we actually wanted to start running. The coach who thought he knew where we want, we have first introduced executed somewhere else to tell us then that he was not there, goes there where we want to go. Much time verplembert are much gone too far, stopped a taxi that we have rumkutschiert for 15 JD (15 €) an hour. Unfortunately, the road was broken and he had us where else can get out, the abbreviation was deleted, but just 3-day trip through the entire wadi.
On the first day was a lot of climbing and pathfinding announced, but we could not even run as long as it was already dark. The second day was a little stressful, we rarely have indulged in a break. But nature is so nem Wadi really awesome, at least where the water flows. (see photos).
